Whispered Prayers

I have caught up!!! It only took a month =)

Now I can take each verse a day at a time and meditate on them MORE! Yesssss.

Romans 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, now how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

Ever had those times in your life when your situation has you at a loss for words, when the storms rages so bad you can't hear yourself think. I know I have, plenty. What a comfort to know that we the words escape us we have the Holy Spirit praying FOR us. Words can't even contain the prayers the Holy Spirit prays on our behalf. And notice that it doesn't say WHEN we don't have the words. We DON'T know what to pray for or HOW to pray. God hears our prayers, of this I am sure, but the prayers whispered by the Spirit are POWERFUL. This Spirit raised Christ from the dead, can  you imagine his prayers! If we share in Christ's treasures then we share in his suffering. During that suffering the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf.  It's like a glorious puzzle within a few verses!!! God knows that life on earth will bring pain and suffering because of the sin in the world. God provided a liasion after Christ who will never leave us and prays on our behalf. Sometimes I wonder why worry ever enters my mind, it's obvious I am loved and well taken care of, worry should NEVER enter the equation.

Romans 8:27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will.

Plead - To appeal earnestly; beg: plead for more time: to offer reasons for or against something; argue earnestly: plead against a bill; to provide an argument or appeal
WOW. Not only is the Spirit praying, but he's pleading in earnest, arguing for us in accordance with God's will (which is good, pleasing, and perfect). Could God make this ANY better? Not likely.
