Don't you know I'm Heavenbound

Let me just say  that yesterday was AMAZING. I couldn't stop smiling, all because of God. Studying about how he loves me so much He adopted me and anticipating for the coming glory that is infinitely better than anything my mind can grasp, that's enough to put anyone in a good mood.
As I was driving home from church I turned on Dc Talk, a band near and dear to my heart. Their old songs Heavenbound and Free at Last were sung from my lips with new vigor and their words touching me deep in my soul. Yeah, they are fun songs but their words are no less impacting.

Yeah..it's ridiculously early 90s. but so wonderful

When God Shows Up

Just at the right time, when I'm feeling forgotten, unloved, and unimportant,  God shows up as He promised He would.
Sometimes I wonder why my problems, petty as they are, seem so important to me. I have God. I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. I am loved by the Creator of flowers, sneezes, and coffee. That fact alone comforts me more and more as I fully realize that fact.
